Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Transmission & Distribution Routing and Siting Project Manager to guide Mountain Region environmental services for North America power projects. The role emphasizes strategic leadership in routing, siting, and regulatory success across multiple states, with a focus on innovation and client delivery.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, advance geospatial capabilities, and drive program growth while mentoring staff and fostering collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex utility, transmission, or energy infrastructure projects.
• Proven business development and client relationship management experience.
• Strong understanding of transmission development, environmental constraints, permitting, and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance regional transmission routing and siting projects supporting utility and energy clients.
• Provide strategic direction for routing and siting methodologies, technical standards, and project delivery approaches.
• Serve as a senior technical resource on complex transmission routing studies, alternatives analyses, and permitting and licensing strategies.
• Collaborate with other regional and national sector leaders to support long-term program growth and operational excellence.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with utility clients and industry stakeholders.
