Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Special Projects Project Management Supervisor to lead APMs and PMs on transmission line and substation capital construction projects. The role oversees statewide project management teams within Special Projects including Interconnection, DOT, Physical Security, Fiber, Telecommunications, and WAR projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering (or related field), 5+ years in electric utility project management, strong leadership, scheduling, budgeting,

Qualifications

Proven leadership abilities and commitment to Safety Excellence.
Minimum 5 years combined experience in electric utility areas preferred.
Familiarity with project management principles and gated processes.
Knowledge of contract administration and budgeting.
Ability to collaborate with PMO leadership and external partners.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction for APMs and PMs on transmission line and substation projects.
Oversee statewide project management teams within Special Projects.
Collaborate with PMO leadership and external partners to drive initiatives.
Ensure safety and regulatory alignment and timely project delivery.
Manage schedules, budgets, and critical paths.
