Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Associate Project Engineer to join the Power Delivery Team in Ann Arbor, MI, or New Albany, OH. You will provide technical execution for planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage transmission projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams to meet quality, budget, and schedule goals.

The role requires leadership in project engineering, QA/QC adherence, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post‑education experience in electrical transmission.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• F.E. exam completion or EI/EIT certification required.
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, GO‑95 and transmission line fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Lead/ support initial project execution layout and project plan.
• Maintain project budget and schedule; coordinate with clients.
