Job summary

Resilient Structures in Houston seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of overhead transmission and distribution line projects. You will provide technical leadership and manage scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring safety and compliance.

Collaborate with Sales, Project Engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality results and interface with customers on design and field applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in T&D line design.
• Knowledge of T&D design standards (NESC, RUS, IEEE, ASCE, state/utility standards).
• Proficient with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and related tools; SPIDA/PoleForeman/O-Calc a plus.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience with large-scale capital programs and asset lifecycle management preferred.
• Experience in a utility and/or EPC environment preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of overhead transmission and distribution line projects.
• Serve as technical resource for Sales Engineers, Project Engineers, and Sales Managers.
• Ensure deliverables meet safety, reliability, budget, and regulatory requirements.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to address design inquiries and field applications.
• Manage multiple tasks with proactive prioritization and minimal supervision.
