Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. seeks a Transmission Practice Leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for executing complex transmission projects and multi-project programs. You will guide PMs, collaborate with clients and agencies, and drive growth while maintaining high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

You will oversee technical teams, develop capabilities for expanding transmission needs, and ensure safe, constructible designs aligned with the Energy Sector’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field (AEC) and minimum of 7 years of professional experience, or 11 years of equivalent experience.
• Progressive professional and organizational management experience.
• Proven experience in project management roles within the technical practice.
• Demonstrated leadership to build and lead teams of technical practitioners and project managers.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to PMs and Sr. PMs and staff within the practice.
• Drive growth and profitability for the practice and projects.
• Lead recruitment, staffing, and performance development activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients and other practice leaders to grow the business and maintain client satisfaction.
