Xcel Energy is seeking a strategic leader to direct the Transmission Asset Management/Planning group. You will shape long-range models, oversee capital budgeting, and coordinate with regional planning bodies to ensure reliability and compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, engage regulators, and guide asset management initiatives, enabling the company to deliver a robust transmission system and support the clean energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years in transmission planning/engineering/operations.
• 4+ years in supervisory/lead role.
• Knowledge of FERC/NERC/State Utility Commissions and WECC/MAPP/SPP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of short and long term system models and plans for reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and justify transmission capital budget with regional inputs.
• Coordinate with TAM, RTO/RRO staffs and regulators on planning and implementation.
• Prepare and direct regulatory filings and technical studies.
• Represent the company in regional planning forums and industry groups.
