The Opportunity
A growing renewable energy developer and owner/operator is seeking a Senior
Transmission & Interconnection Manager to support the development and grid integration
of utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects across North America.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant responsibility for evaluating
transmission opportunities, developing interconnection strategies, assessing grid constraints,
and supporting commercial decisions throughout the project development lifecycle.
The position will work closely with Development, Engineering, Commercial, and Project
teams and will play a key role in determining how projects can be most effectively connected
to the electric grid.
The role can be performed remotely within the U.S., with periodic travel for team meetings,
industry events, utility engagements, and project-related activities.
Role Overview
The Senior Transmission & Interconnection Manager will evaluate potential grid connection
opportunities for utility-scale solar, solar-plus-storage, and standalone battery projects.
The role combines power systems analysis, transmission planning, interconnection
strategy, commercial evaluation, and project development. The successful candidate will
be comfortable working with complex grid studies and translating technical findings into
practical recommendations for development and investment teams.
