Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer/Transmission Line Engineer III to lead HV/MV and underground transmission line projects from concept to construction, including 12 kV to 500 kV overhead lines and 12 kV to 230 kV underground systems.

You will design, review, and specify materials and construction methods, mentor junior engineers, coordinate with disciplines, interface with clients and regulatory bodies, and help grow the T&D team within the Power

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Civil Engineering required.
• PE registration preferred; professional licensure valued.
• Experience with T&D design, codes, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of HV/MV overhead and underground transmission projects.
• Prepare scope, specs, and construction procedures for tenders and contracts.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and permitting/regulatory bodies.
• Perform feasibility studies and project cost estimates.
