Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is looking for an experienced engineer to design transmission lines from 69kV to 765kV and mentor junior team members. The role requires proficiency in PLS-CADD, as well as a solid understanding of engineering standards.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with in-office work required three days a week and a compensation range of $134,546 - $205,557, alongside comprehensive benefits aimed at well-being and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 12 years of transmission design experience.
• Experience must include preparation of scopes of work.
• Knowledge of engineering standards including NESC and IEEE.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
• Mentor and train less experienced design team members.
• Coordinate design activities to meet specifications.

Skills

Transmission design experience

Education

BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
