Qualus is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to design high-voltage transmission structures and lines, with responsibilities spanning design, specifications, and simulations. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications.
• PE License required.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools.
• Strong working knowledge of foundation design and analysis.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, FAD Tools, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC, ASCE, ACI, RUS, IEC, and IEEE.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong desire to mentor, train and lead next generation of engineers.
