Sargent & Lundy is seeking a skilled transmission line engineer to design and analyze transmission lines in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves performing structural analysis, developing cost estimates, and modeling lines using PLS-CADD. Candidates should have an ABET-accredited degree and 3+ years of experience.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing flexibility while requiring in-office presence three days a week. The compensation range is between $74,353 and $113,595 per year.

Qualifications

• Degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• 3+ years of related experience in transmission line engineering.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines from 69kV to 765kV.
• Perform structural analysis and design.
• Develop cost estimates and prepare specifications.
• Model transmission lines in PLS-CADD.

Skills

Proficiency with PLS-CADD

3+ years of related experience in transmission line engineering

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Knowledge of engineering principles

Education
