This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities include:

1. Design transmission lines for voltages ranging from 69kV to 500kV.
2. Conduct cost analyses, develop design criteria, and handle routing and siting of transmission lines.
3. Perform conductor selection studies, shielding, grounding, and induction studies.
4. Collaborate with vendors and clients to specify line components.

Opportunities include:

1. Working with diverse clients and project teams.
2. Occasional travel for site visits and meetings.
3. Developing proposals and cost estimates for new projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in transmission line projects.
• Knowledge of design codes such as NESC, IEC, IEEE, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred but not required:

• Current PE license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with engineering proposals, scheduling, and additional software tools.

Compensation Range: $78,400 - $119,850 annually.
