Job summary

Talent Xchange seeks an experienced T&D Design Engineer to support high‑voltage line projects in the U.S. market. The role requires a strong background in T&D line design, substantial knowledge of NESC, IEEE and related standards, and hands‑on use of PLS‑CADD and PLS‑POLE. PE licensure is a plus.

You will interface with customers, lead design initiatives, and contribute to capital programs and asset lifecycle management while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Around 8 years of experience in T&D line design.
• Strong knowledge of T&D design standards (NESC, RUS, IEEE, ASCE, state and utility-specific standards).
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related design tools (SPIDA, Pole Foreman, O-Calc).
• Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer technical contacts to answer inquiries on design and field applications.
• Lead projects and collaborate with teams to solve problems and quantify risks.
• Propose conceptual solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Contribute to asset lifecycle management and capital programs where applicable.
• Demonstrate proven communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
