Job summary

Kintec Search is seeking a Transmission Manager to drive interconnection strategies across US markets (MISO, SPP, ERCOT, SERC). You will lead a pipeline of 10 GW+ of generation and load interconnection projects through ISO and interconnection processes, ensuring cost and schedule efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in energy markets, with at least 5 years in commercial/regulatory contexts, and a proven track record in negotiations, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years in energy markets with 5+ years in commercial or regulated markets.
• Experience in transmission planning or utility-scale engineering preferred.
• Proven record of securing interconnection approvals for renewables in the US.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of 10 GW+ interconnection projects through ISO/TO processes.
• Coordinate with analytics and development teams to meet cost and schedule targets.
• Lead interconnection negotiations and manage milestone tracking and risk.
• Forecast project commitments and at-risk amounts for portfolio projects.
• Represent the company at transmission owner meetings to protect schedule and cost.
• Drive strategic regional transmission and interconnection initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of ISO/RTO regulations and policy developments.
• Collaborate with Development, Commercial, Regulatory, and Engineering teams.
