Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 6 years of utility field experience.
• High school diploma or GED with 10 years of related utility field experience.

Responsibilities

• Review for consistency and implement work practices across assigned TFS Area(s).
• Develop and coordinate capital and/or maintenance workplans within goals and project requirements.
• Participate in inter-region meetings to share ideas and develop standard policies.
• Collaborate to evaluate new tools and equipment to improve safety and productivity.
• Maintain TFS Area tool budget and coordinate related training.
• Develop refresher training and new equipment training for TFS personnel.
• Improve data collection systems for assigned TFS Area(s).
• Travel extensively to stay current with field issues and practices.
• Oversee commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of transmission and distribution assets.
• Develop expertise on Station, P&C, Transmission Line, or stormwater issues.
• Prepare cost estimates for non-routine and special projects.
• Lead coordination of securing rental equipment in the TFS Area.
• Apply discipline-specific duties as applicable.
• Assist initiatives assigned by TFS Area Supervision.
• Contract administration across TFS Area(s) including planning, procurement, and outages.
• Respond to support emergency work as needed.
• Assist supervision with progression testing for employees in TFS Area(s).
