Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop estimates for major projects across the three-state area. You will collaborate with planning, engineering, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates and support for project decisions.

The role requires strong Excel skills, a background in electrical utility estimation, and experience presenting estimates to management. Salary is competitive with incentives available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project estimating, similar discipline or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration is desirable.
• Experience with estimating systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for major projects (typically over $1M).
• Standardize cost estimating templates across the three-state territory.
• Identify and quantify project risks and contingencies.
• Present estimates to management in reviews and support QA/QC measures.
