Job summary

REV Renewables is seeking a Senior Engineer/Manager to support transmission, interconnection, policy and market activities for utility-scale renewable energy and storage projects. Based in Walnut Creek, CA, this role focuses on CAISO/WECC processes and market analysis to advance development and operations across the Western US.

You will perform power flow analysis, coordinate with utilities and consultants, and contribute to project execution with strong technical and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 6–10 years in transmission planning or related fields.
• Direct CAISO/WECC interconnection and planning experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support transmission/interconnection/markets activities for utility-scale projects.
• Prepare and manage generator interconnection requests and studies.
• Perform power flow analysis and assess interconnection costs.
• Coordinate interconnection studies with utilities and consultants.
• Develop market entry strategies and identify zones.
• Monitor West Coast markets and CAISO/WECC activities.
• Support M&A due diligence on transmission issues.
• Assist in economic assessment and production cost modelling.
• Engage in ISO/RTO stakeholder processes.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams during project execution.
