Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Transmission Delivery Lead to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of electric transmission projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing utility, transmission, energy infrastructure, or large-scale capital projects.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems, utility operations, and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with PM tools like MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of transmission projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout activities.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, environmental, permitting, construction, and operations teams to ensure project success.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, leadership, customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues that may impact project objectives.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates, forecasts, and executive-level reporting.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Manage contractor and vendor performance to ensure quality, cost control, and schedule adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in project delivery.
• Support strategic planning efforts and contribute to the development of transmission infrastructure programs.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
