Job summary

Elanco seeks a Senior Research Scientist in Non-Clinical Development to drive translational pharmacology strategies, bridging in vitro screening with clinical efficacy. You will oversee CROs, coordinate cross-functional translational R&D, and advance biomarker and PK/PD programs to support portfolio assets.

Qualifications

Education: DVM or PhD in veterinary medicine, biology or related field.
1–3 years of early-career professional experience in pharmaceutical industry research and/or development.
Proven expertise in designing translational pharmacology studies.

Responsibilities

Design translational pharmacology studies for profiling compounds.
Coordinate early in vivo profiling programs across disciplines.
Define and implement in vitro and in vivo biomarker strategies for target engagement and safety.
Initiate PK/PD approaches with Safety and DMPK teams.
