Job summary

Elanco seeks a Principal Research Scientist, Pet Health Clinical Development, Dermatology and Therapeutics, to lead global clinical development programs from inception through regulatory approval in initial geographies.

You will plan pilot and pivotal studies, author protocols and reports, collaborate with internal teams and CROs, and ensure compliance with GCP/GLP/GMP while delivering Elanco’s innovation pipeline to customers.

Qualifications

• Education: DVM or Ph.D. in an animal health related field preferred; MS with experience will be considered.
• Experience: 5+ years in product development within or closely related to pharma is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Solid understanding of global regulatory requirements for therapeutic products.

Responsibilities

• Formulate clinical development plans and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Design and write protocols for efficacy studies to support regulatory approval.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to prepare reports for authorities and meetings.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with GCP/GLP/GMP throughout studies.
