Job summary

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated is seeking a (Senior) Research Scientist in the Non-Clinical Development team to drive translational pharmacology strategies in early drug development. You will bridge in vitro findings to clinical scenarios, select animal disease models, and coordinate cross-functional translational R&D programs.

The role emphasizes pharmacology strategies, biomarker development, and collaboration with Safety, DMPK, and external partners, with travel up to 30% globally.

Qualifications

• Education: DVM or PhD in Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in pharmaceutical industry research and/or development.
• Technical Skillset: In Vivo pharmacology study design and biomarker identification for clinical translatability.

Responsibilities

• Design translational pharmacology studies for profiling compounds.
• Analyze drug mechanisms, target biology, and disease pathophysiology.
