Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related Biological Science is required.
• Must have MLT certification in Molecular Biology (ASCP/NCA or equivalent).
• 5 years’ experience in molecular diagnostics, assay development, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned projects focused on assay development, validation, and implementation.
• Apply advanced knowledge of molecular biology to diagnostic testing, including NGS and bioinformatics.
• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize assays with quality control standards.
• Use automated lab equipment and ensure rigorous validation protocols.
• Determine methodologies for new projects with literature support or grants.
• Serve as technical expert and liaison between ADL and Translational Pathology.
