Qualifikationen

• > 4 years hands-on research laboratory experience.
• Experience with human cancer translational assays and handling of human tissues and blood.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and proteomic assays and/or NGS assay setup.
• Cell culture and PCR-based assays experience.
• Ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot laboratory protocols.
• Ability to learn new instruments and workflows efficiently.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Experience training and leading junior staff.

Aufgaben

• Perform and optimize molecular biology, proteomic, NGS assays, cell culture and PCR-based assays for translational cancer research.
• Process human tissues and blood specimens per approved protocols and biosafety requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments; learn new assays and technologies.
• Develop, adapt, validate new assay approaches as required by research objectives.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve protocol, assay-performance, specimen-quality, and equipment problems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, inventories and quality-control documentation.
• Analyze and present experimental data to investigators and teams.
• Collaborate with bioinformaticians and biostatisticians on data quality and analysis plans.
