Job summary

Predicine in Hayward, CA is seeking a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist to lead NGS-based liquid biopsy analyses and translational programs. You will work with cfDNA/cfRNA, tissue and RNA-seq data to craft biomarker strategies for cancer diagnosis and clinical applications, while interfacing with pharmaceutical clients and KOLs.

You will develop pipelines, models and analyses, mentor others, and help translate client needs into actionable plans with a client-success mindset.

Qualifications

Strong R and/or Python programming skills with Unix/Linux experience.
Hands-on NGS and liquid biopsy analysis experience (cfDNA/cfRNA, tumor tissue, RNA-seq).
Experience with variant analysis, multi-omics integration, statistics or machine learning.
Strong publication or presenting record and scientific writing skills.
Excellent client-facing communication with pharma clients, KOLs, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead bioinformatics analysis for NGS and liquid biopsy studies and develop biomarker reporting.
Analyze multi-omics and clinical data to identify biomarkers and tumor biology insights.
Develop and improve computational pipelines, statistical models, and ML approaches.
Serve as client-facing scientific partner in technology meetings and translate client needs into analysis plans.
Coordinate collaborations, presentations, publications, and mentorship across translational projects.
