Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead Mobility Transit Technologies and Operations projects across the United States.

The role focuses on delivering real-time traveler information, transit technology, energy transition, and fleet electrification with a strong emphasis on client relationship management and staff leadership. You will lead projects, manage client expectations, and collaborate with municipal and regional transit agencies to plan, design, and implement new systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in transit and transportation technologies.
• Professional Engineering designation and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Engineering degree with focus on Transportation and Transit; electrical and civil engineers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between the client and our team and manage client relationships.
• Understand client needs and issues, and relate those to project scope and delivery.
• Track milestones, deliverables, change requests, and client issues to ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead client progress meetings and communicate changes, milestones reached, and overall project status.
• Coach and mentor transit and mobility technologies professionals and support their career growth.
• Apply and lead staff in design, engineering, implementation, and testing of transit and mobility technology projects.
• Support change management and business process transformation related to new technologies.
• Prepare and present materials at client meetings.
• Review contractor proposals and design documentation for compliance.
• Support development of schedules and cost estimates.
• Maintain existing client relationships and participate in acquiring new projects.
• Participate in business development including identifying opportunities, proposals and client meetings.
