Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead transit rail design and delivery in the Philadelphia region. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with agencies such as SEPTA, Amtrak, NJ Transit and MTA to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field required; Master's degree a plus and may substitute for 1 year of experience
• 11+ years of experience in a design-focused project management role on transit or rail projects
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Amtrak, SEPTA, DRPA, PATCO, NJ Transit, and/or NY MTA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design of transit rail projects in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area as an individual contributor project manager
• Administer the design phase of projects from budgeting and scheduling through procurement
• Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and project partners to ensure successful project delivery
• Respond to client-issued RFQs and RFPs and provide guidance to marketing teams for Transit & Rail pursuits
• Serve as pursuit manager on proposals for Transit Rail clients
• Assist with pursuit strategy and overall client approach to help grow VHB's Transit & Rail practice in the region
