Job summary

CDM Smith in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Technical Leader to guide the Transit and Urban Mobility Team. You will oversee complex civil engineering solutions across multimodal corridors, rail, and transit projects, coordinating with MARTA, ARC, GDOT, ATLDOT, and other partners.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in Georgia, 10+ years of experience in civil/transportation engineering, and readiness for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering.
• PE license.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Equivalent additional related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex transit infrastructure, multimodal corridor, and active transportation projects as project engineer of record.
• Direct design of MARTA rail and bus infrastructure, BRT corridors, transit stations, and passenger amenities.
• Oversee complete streets and multimodal corridor designs with ADA compliance.
• Coordinate with client organizations and regulatory agencies throughout project delivery.
• Mentor mid-level and junior staff; review and approve their work.
