Job summary

Jaquith Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Estimator in Sacramento or Fresno, CA. This role involves developing cost estimates for large transit infrastructure projects and managing contractor estimates and claims. Candidates should possess 15+ years of estimating experience, with at least 10 years in transit work. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Science/Management is preferred. Qualifications

• Must have 15+ years of estimating experience with minimum 10 years in transit work.
• Must be proficient with database-driven estimating software.
• Professional certification as cost estimator and/or engineer is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for capital projects from planning to construction.
• Review contractor estimates and change orders.
• Develop policies for programmatic cost estimating.
