Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; Master's preferred.
• 10 years of experience in high voltage main power transformers and distribution transformers preferred.
• 5–7 years of technical experience in high voltage substations; 5–7 years in Transmission/Distribution/Power Generation industry preferred.
• 5–7 years experience reviewing technical drawings including electrical schematics (one- and three-lines).
• 5–7 years power transformer manufacturing knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications during bid stage and ensure transformer design packages meet standards.
• Identify clarifications and deviations to customer specs.
• Support sales on technical discussions with customers.
• Suggest design changes to improve competitiveness and consistency across third party designs.
• Assist engineering through quote and project lifecycles.
• Serve as technical liaison between company, customers and manufacturers.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation for compliance.
• Make joint and solo calls to customers and manufacturers.
• Interface with customers and transformer manufacturers to resolve technical problems.
• Provide training on transformer products to junior staff and customers.
