Job summary

Seattle University is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions, Transfer Recruitment, to lead transfer recruitment efforts and supervise the Transfer Recruitment Team. This role acts as the primary contact for transfer students and community college partners, managing a recruitment territory and helping achieve undergraduate enrollment goals.

Strong leadership and student-centered communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional work experience or an equivalent combination sufficient to perform essential job functions.
• Well-developed organizational skills and ability to speak publicly to large and small groups, with strong oral and written communication.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and supporting diverse student populations.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Advise prospective transfer students through the admissions process via appointments, events, and outreach.
• Review and evaluate transfer applications; make initial admission recommendations.
• Lead and mentor the Transfer Recruitment Team to foster a student-centered culture.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to develop enrollment strategies and support major admissions events.
