Job summary

The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking a Training Supervisor to lead a team of instructional designers within the Division of Business Services’ Office of Professional Development. You will design, direct, and maintain comprehensive training programs for DDD employees, aligning with agency objectives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an applicable subject area such as Instructional Design, eLearning, HR Development, Adult Education, Psychology, English or similar field
• Experience leading instructional design teams and managing training programs
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and eLearning development tools
• Ability to develop and evaluate training outcomes and reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of instructional designers who plan, design, develop, and maintain training for all DDD employees
• Coach and mentor staff; manage training projects and team priorities
• Collaborate with SMEs and sponsors to ensure timely delivery of quality training
• Ensure training materials meet standards and align with agency objectives
• Produce compliance and performance reports and manage related technology
• Participate in committees and drive strategic learning initiatives
