Job summary

The Training and Development Specialist IV at Health & Human Services Comm (Rusk State Hospital) performs highly complex training and development work, designing rosters, monitoring adherence to FCTD guidelines, and maintaining CTD facilities.

This role requires SME-level curriculum coordination, knowledge of TC/CMS standards, and the ability to train staff in CPR/TIPS, with opportunities for disaster response readiness and occasional shift changes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major in education or related field preferred
• Three years’ experience in developing policy/reports or curriculum/training materials
• Three years’ experience conducting and developing training
• Three years’ supervisory or lead role

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains training rosters in PeopleSoft TIMS
• Monitors class participants to ensure facility compliance with FCTD guidelines (95%)
• Schedules and documents training activities; sends reminders to staff
• Teaches CPR, TIPS and possibly Van Driver Training as needed
