Job summary

Metra is seeking a seasoned training and regulatory compliance professional to lead the Rules and Operating Practices program. You will oversee staff delivering training, manage schedules, and ensure accurate certification records.

Your role includes developing materials, coaching staff, and reporting on KPIs to leadership. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of MOW/RWP rules, CFRs, and experience training across classroom and field settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; alternate education/experience considered as four to five years in operations or program administration.
• Six years of experience in compliance, program administration, or operations, preferably as a trainer or instructor.
• Three years of supervisory experience including guidance, training, and performance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of RWP and MOW rules and applicable CFRs.
• Ability to lead projects and deliver training in classroom or field settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and audit staff delivering training programs and rules examinations.
• Manage training budgets and logistics for schedules and classes, including annual qualifications.
• Ensure timely record-keeping of certifications and examinations; enforce retest procedures.
• Develop operating rules materials; train staff on customer service, incident reporting, and safety rules.
• Monitor training effectiveness via KPI reports and coordinate with senior management.
