Norfolk Southern is seeking candidates for conductor roles. You will start on the extra board and bid for regular assignments as you gain seniority.

Training lasts about 20 weeks, with the first five weeks at NS Training Center in McDonough, GA, including hotel stays, meal stipends, and travel reimbursement from your hire location. You must be willing to work 24/7 on short notice and be prepared to join a union within 60 days after training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must report to work within 90 minutes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Build and inspect trains, railcars, and equipment for safe operation.
• Operate remote control locomotives and perform coupling tasks.
• Communicate with crews, dispatchers, and yard controllers.
• Maintain documentation and follow FRA safety regulations.
