BF&S is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer/Project Manager to support a wide range of traffic projects across Indiana offices, including Indianapolis. The role combines engineering analysis with project leadership to advance our transportation services.

Responsibilities include client liaison, forecasting with Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, and Sidra, and managing scope, schedules, and budgets on Federal Aid and INDOT projects while mentoring junior staff.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• PE license in Indiana or ability to obtain within six months.
• 7+ years experience in traffic forecasting, safety, capacity, operations analysis, and design elements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the main client contact, providing status reports and coordinating efforts.
• Forecast and analyze traffic using Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, and Sidra.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budgets for Federal Aid, INDOT, and local projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with sub-consultants and internal departments.
• Review design calculations and prepare Traffic Impact Studies and related reports.
• Perform traffic signal, lighting, and signage design for local and INDOT projects.
