Lumin8 Transportation Technologies in Statesville, NC is seeking a Traffic Signal Construction Foreman to lead field installations of signalized intersections and related infrastructure. You will coordinate civil, electrical, low-voltage, and traffic safety work to achieve DOT/municipal acceptance and project turnover.

The role requires 3–5+ years in traffic signals, strong leadership, and ability to manage schedules, lane closures, inspectors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years experience in traffic signal or related civil/electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret signal plans, wiring diagrams, phase sheets, and project specifications.
• Experience coordinating with inspectors, engineers, and GC superintendents.
• Proficiency in crew leadership and field training.
• Ability to work safely around live traffic and energized cabinets.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for detection, wiring, and device bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installation of signalized intersections and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate heavy lifts and ensure equipment and materials are staged and compliant with project phasing.
• Perform cabinet power-up, energization checks, and hardware bring-up; assist with timing coordination.
• Manage MOT plans, lane closures, and safety around energized equipment and live traffic.
• Interface with GC, inspectors, and resident engineers to ensure timely inspections and turnover.
• Document quantities, installations, and field notes; support as-built documentation for turnover and billing.
• Lead and train construction signal technicians and apprentices; ensure quality and safety.
