Job summary

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies is seeking a Traffic Signal Construction Foreman to lead field installation of signalized intersections and related infrastructure. You will coordinate civil, electrical, and safety work to ensure inspections and project turnover are met.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and safety discipline to manage live-traffic sites and coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience reading signal plans, wiring diagrams, phase sheets, and specs.
• Proven ability to lead and train field crews on construction tasks.
• Strong safety mindset when working around energized cabinets and live traffic.
• Experience coordinating with inspectors, engineers, and GC superintendents.
• Ability to manage field sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for detection, wiring, and hardware bring‑up.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installation of signalized intersections and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate MOT plans, lane closures, and safety compliance.
• Oversee trenching, boring, and underground work for conduit and detection systems.
• Conduct commissioning, timing download, and turn‑up with engineers/vendors.
• Interface with inspectors for acceptance and project turnover.
• Document quantities, field notes, and turnover documentation.
