Job summary

PRIME AE Group, based in the Columbus/Akron region, seeks a Sr. Traffic Project Manager to lead high-impact traffic engineering projects and grow PRIME AE's presence in the Ohio market.

You will steer multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and deliver transportation solutions from planning through construction. The ideal candidate has a BSCE, an active Ohio PE license, 10+ years in traffic engineering and project management, and proven leadership, communication, and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required; MSCE preferred).
• Active Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering and project management.
• Strong experience with ODOT projects, including preliminary and final design.
• Experience in traffic analysis, design, and project delivery.
• Experience with construction phase services and reviewing shop drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with client engagement and business development is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, analysis, and design of traffic engineering projects while managing project teams, budgets, and schedules.
• Serve as a primary client contact, leading meetings, presentations, and ongoing communication.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Provide quality control for project deliverables including plans, specifications, and reports.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and support team growth.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
