Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Sr. Traffic Project Manager to lead high-impact traffic engineering projects across the Columbus and Akron markets.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, develop scope and proposals, and grow PRIME AE’s traffic engineering presence in the Ohio market. The ideal candidate is a licensed Ohio PE with 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering and ODOT projects, capable of business development, client engagement, and delivering high-quality, safe

Qualifications

• BSCE required; MSCE preferred.
• Active Ohio PE license required.
• 10+ years in traffic engineering and PM.
• Strong experience with ODOT projects, including preliminary and final design.
• Experience with traffic analysis, design, and project delivery.
• Experience with construction phase services and reviewing shop drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with client engagement and business development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering projects from concept through final design.
• Oversee design engineers and technical staff.
• Develop scope, schedule, and fee proposals.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
• Perform traffic studies, signal design, MOT, and safety improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ODOT standards.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide QC for plans, specs, and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and support team growth.
• Lead client meetings and ongoing communications.
• Support business development and client engagement.
• Represent PRIME AE in Ohio transportation market.
