Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Civil Engineer V to join our Public Works team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on advanced analysis, scope definition, and developing novel approaches for municipal infrastructure projects.

You will work with an experienced team on projects including municipal utility planning/design, stormwater, hydraulics, flood control, and GIS, providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff. A Texas PE license and ABET-accredited degree are required.

Qualifications

7-10 years of related work experience.
PE license in Texas is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Proven proficiency with various computer software packages and automated engineering/design equipment.

Responsibilities

Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate engineering assignments involving complex problems.
Plan, organize, and supervise design engineering activities for major projects or multiple projects.
May lead aspects of proposal teams and research teams.
Engage in problem areas of greater scope and complexity compared to Engineer IV.
Provide direction to and supervision for Engineers I–IV, CAD and design staff, admin staff.
