PRIME AE Group is actively seeking a Sr. Traffic Project Manager to join our Columbus or Akron offices.

You will lead high-impact traffic engineering projects in Ohio, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and delivering innovative transportation solutions that improve mobility and safety. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering with an active Ohio PE license and 10+ years in traffic engineering and project management, including ODOT project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and active Ohio PE license.
• 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering and project management.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering projects from concept through final design and construction.
• Coordinate design engineers and technical staff across projects.
• Develop scope, schedule, and fee proposals for traffic and transportation work.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
• Mentor junior staff and support practice growth.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and ongoing communication.
• Support business development and client engagement initiatives.
