ISG is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join its Transportation team in Sioux Falls, SD. You will lead traffic engineering projects serving state DOTs, cities, and private clients, and collaborate with senior leaders to guide design from concept through construction.

Requires minimum five years of civil engineering experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and PE license; PTOE preferred. This in-office role emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and delivering creative traffic solutions.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• PE licensed, required
• PTOE certification, preferred

Responsabilidades

• Collect traffic data, perform intersection evaluations, complete traffic and corridor studies, and conduct analyses using simulation and modeling software
• Lead projects in traffic related design including traffic signal and roundabout plans, roadway lighting plans, signing and striping plans, construction staging and traffic control plans
• Prepare preliminary and final designs and develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Build and strengthen client relationships by actively listening and understanding their goals, priorities, and expectations
• Act as a technical resource within the organization, providing expertise and guidance on transportation projects
• Serve as a mentor and leader for local internal ISGers that demonstrates a high degree of professionalism
• Support additional initiatives and responsibilities as assigned to contribute to team and organizational success
