Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer | ITS & Traffic Operations to join the Intelligent Mobility Services Team in Nashville, TN. You will have the opportunity to lead delivery for programs and projects across the Southeast, collaborating with senior managers and engineers to drive outcomes.

This hybrid role favors local candidates who can attend client meetings in person and contribute to traffic studies, ITS designs, and safety analyses under guidance from leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• EIT with ability to obtain TN PE within 1 year.
• U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Experience with Traffic Analysis and Engineering Principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects and programs.
• Provide written and verbal updates on the status of projects to clients and internal senior management.
• Present technical results and recommendations to clients.
• Coordinate with survey, roadway design, and environmental teams to deliver projects.
• Work with client managers to develop project pursuit strategies and plans.
• Support the project team in traffic engineering plans for signals, signing and ITS designs.
