Job summary

Arcadis is looking for a proven Senior Traffic Engineer – Design Lead to join our Transportation team in Nashville, TN. This hybrid position offers flexibility along with opportunities for in-person collaboration.

You will lead a team in developing traffic plans for major roadway projects and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and a PE license. Benefits include medical coverage and 20 days PTO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience post degree.
• PE in a US-based jurisdiction with ability to obtain PE in other jurisdictions within six months of hire.
• Must possess a US Drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing team of engineers in developing traffic, ITS, and tolling plan elements.
• Drive scope, schedule, and budget performance for traffic tasks.
• Provide quality assurance leadership on complex projects.
• Build strong client relationships by leading technical discussions.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid‑level engineers.
