RS H is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer/Traffic Discipline Leader to join either our Charleston or Columbia, SC office. The role blends leadership, technical excellence, and client development in a hybrid schedule, combining in-office collaboration with remote work.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• PE License.
• Minimum 10 years of traffic engineering experience with leadership.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering services for SCDOT and local clients and manage projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Administer quality management plans and perform thorough reviews of deliverables.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop technical strategies and procedures in the national practice.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff; recruit talent to grow the team.
