WSP is seeking a Senior Consultant, Traffic Engineer in Valhalla, New York. You will lead traffic engineering projects, conduct capacity analyses, signal timing studies, and roadway design coordination with agencies and clients. This role requires strong technical writing, modeling, and leadership of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional traffic engineering work including investigations of site conditions, roadways, intersections, and transportation corridors.
• Develop concepts for intersection and corridor improvements coordinating with authorities, sub-consultants, and clients.
• Prepare Signing and Pavement Marking design plans and Traffic Signal/Electrical design plans.
• Perform Traffic Control/Staging design plans and safety analyses.
• Oversee data collection, trip generation, and traffic analyses on projects.
• Prepare technical reports, visuals, charts, and presentations.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and DOT authorities on transportation projects.
• Maintain QA/QC and adhere to company policies and safety requirements.
