RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Augusta, GA is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct vehicle flow around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones, and barricades, and communicate with motorists using hand signals and stop/slow paddles.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, the ability to stand for long periods, and the stamina to lift items up to 50 pounds. A valid driver\'s license, DOT compliance readiness, and ATSSA Flagger training are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass background check.
• DOT drug test and safety compliance.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed.
• Willingness to travel statewide and stay overnight as needed.
• Able to work nights and weekends as required by projects.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles and clear signals.
• Communicate with contractors and team members via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for long periods in various weather conditions.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving items up to 50 pounds.
• Transport traffic control equipment between job sites in company vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Work outdoors with exposure to weather, traffic, fumes, and noise.
