Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Professional Engineer to lead traffic, transportation, civil/site, and infrastructure projects in Connecticut. You will oversee project scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with CTDOT, municipalities, and clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, mentorship skills, and the ability to review and seal engineering documents. PE licensure is strongly preferred; EIT candidates near PE eligibility may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• 5–20+ years of relevant experience.
• PE license strongly preferred; EIT candidates considered.
• Experience with CTDOT or municipal transportation projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage client-facing projects and coordinate with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering studies, analyses, and intersection evaluations.
• Prepare transportation planning reports and technical memoranda.
• Manage civil/site design from concept to permitting and construction.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with CTDOT, municipalities, and clients; participate in meetings.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; monitor finances.
• Review and seal engineering documents as required.
