Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to help expand its traffic, transportation, civil/site, and infrastructure engineering capabilities. This client-facing role requires strong technical leadership, project management, and the ability to coordinate with public agencies and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have PE licensure (or near PE) and a track record in traffic engineering, roadway design, drainage, and site development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
5–20+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Experience in traffic engineering, transportation design, roadway improvements, and site/civil engineering.
Ability to coordinate with CTDOT, municipalities, and public agencies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform traffic engineering studies, traffic impact analyses, and intersection evaluations.
Lead civil/site engineering projects from concept through permitting and construction.
Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with CTDOT and municipalities and participate in public meetings.
