Job summary

Talanto seeks an Sr. Staff Technical Risk Architect to design and own the core trading systems within Everything Exchange.

You will architect end-to-end platforms, ensure ultra-low latency, and drive reliability across OMS/EMS, connectivity, and execution. The role requires deep backend engineering experience in distributed systems and the ability to deliver complex projects end-to-end in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on architect responsible for 24/7 trading systems.
• Extensive backend engineering with distributed systems ownership.
• Architecting an end-to-end trading platform (OMS/EMS, multi-exchange).
• Low-latency, high-throughput, event-driven design.
• Experience in regulated financial environments with emphasis on correctness.
• Delivery of end-to-end projects across architecture, implementation, monitoring and iteration.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the end-to-end trading platform including sequencer and messaging fabric.
• Design low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time financial products.
• Drive reliability, SLOs, observability and incident response for latency-critical systems.
• Set technical standards through code reviews and architecture oversight.
• Reduce single points of failure and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Security and Compliance to convert vision into roadmaps.
